We’re excited to announce that over the next few weeks we are going to be re-launching The Raw Kitchen Ponsonby and Newmarket stores as WELL+GOOD!
In addition to the usual breakfast cups, raw salads, cakes and treats you already know and love, we are introducing a brand spanking new range of wholefood options! To give you a little teaser, this will include daily salads made with organic quinoa and roasted local veges, a delicious range of gluten-free sandwiches, a whole new smoothie range, and more!
As always, our food is prepared by hand in our Ponsonby store each and every day and is free of gluten, dairy, refined sugar and anything overly processed and nasty. You can trust that while we are adding a new range, the same attention to your health and wellbeing remains, as well as the careful sourcing of each ingredient we use.
Our little Newmarket store is the first to receive the makeover treatment and I’m sure you will be happy to hear that we are introducing made-to-order smoothies and Coffee Supreme coffee over the next two weeks! We will also be introducing organic milk from Green Valley’s Mangatawhiri farm to our coffee options at both Newmarket and Ponsonby, as well as our infamous house made almond mylk, of course!
Rest assured The Raw Kitchen isn’t going anywhere either! As well as working on amazing new and improved raw cakes for WELL+GOOD stores and the online store, Olivia is looking at spaces to launch The Raw Kitchen 2.0 somewhere in your neighbourhood in the very near future!

I’m glad this is a Monday not a Thursday or Friday, as I think you need a bit of a chilled day to get through one of these.
Ok – so I did start the day with a smoothie at 8am… so I hope that’s not cheating as such! But then a heavy gym season and off to Well + Good to collect my 02 days worth of juices. I am hospo so a later starter and definatley a late finisher..
First Juice was a charcoal cleanse – tasted all a little soar and AL choline like, but that was easy enough.
Its now 2.31pm and I have since nailed 01green juice, celery cumumber etc… again pretty easy but light on the stomach… so a few hungry pains have kicked in. Chased a 04 Carrot, orange, pineapple turmeric fruity number. Tasty for sure but getting HUNGRY…… staring at thenut milk that is last on the list… I want it for a filly feeling but have to wait….
Almost busted into a crunchy apple – NO….
Got to note the support and tips from Annabel the nutritionist keep you on track and in line…
Ok – so there is definitely a mid or in my case and late afternoon slump… I got stuck on my computer and got all craby and grumpy with every email coming through… didn’t realize I needed to change things up and get out. Took the kids to swimming, fresh air, new scene and I was feeling much better, fresher and yes ready for another juice…02 greens to punch back and get some more fluids into my belly… I don’t actually feel hungry but for some odd reason I do feel the need to eat.. Im not and I havnt but is an odd sensation..
So the last nut milk juice went down the hatch at about 7.30.. Leaving my tummy feeling content and satisfied.
I have to say I slept like a baby, I had a brilliant restful sleep. So I have woken feeling great, light, and bright.. and ironically ready to cook for 130 guest and a wine and food matching dinner at Masu… I guess that keep the equal balance – and life is an artful balance..

Last night Auckland-based jewellery legends Meadowlark showcased their new 2016 collection, and we were there in a little pink bottle!
In line with their new collection’s accent, Meadowlark Creative Director Claire wanted a something pink! So we hand crafted a limited edition cold pressed juice with Granny Smith apple, grapefruit, strawberry and a splash of lime.
Keep an eye out for the new collection launching in early 2016!
